Story
It is with heavy hearts that we share the sudden and tragic passing of our dear friend, Shawn Norris. Shawn passed away unexpectedly last night, leaving behind his beloved wife Jennifer and their amazing 9-year-old son, Thomas.
Shawn was a joyful, fun-loving spirit who lit up every room he entered. He was known for his infectious smile, his generous heart, and the deep love he had for his family. Shawn and Jennifer were both dedicated educators, and their lives were centered around teaching, coaching, and raising their son with love and purpose.
Shawn was not only a teacher, basketball and track & field coach at Santa Rita Middle School in Liberty Hill, but also an incredibly devoted father and husband. He proudly coached Thomas in football, baseball, and basketball, always showing up with enthusiasm and encouragement. His family was his world, and he gave them his everything.
This tragedy has left an unimaginable hole in the lives of those who knew and loved Shawn. As Jennifer and Thomas face the days ahead, they will need support—not just emotionally, but financially. Unfortunately, due to a seizure disorder, Shawn was denied life insurance and with both Shawn and Jennifer being teachers, the sudden loss of income and the weight of funeral expenses, bills, and day-to-day needs will be overwhelming.
Please consider donating whatever you can to help ease the burden on Jennifer and Thomas during this heartbreaking time. Every contribution will go directly to helping them navigate this devastating loss and begin to rebuild their lives.
Thank you for your kindness, prayers, and support.
